One of the new features I like on Trulia is their clients reports. After you have claimed your listings on Trulia, you can set a weekly or monthly report to be sent on the activity to you sellers.It is easy to set up and you only have to do it once for all of your listings.

Here is an example of what I have sent to all my 30 sellers in Ann Arbor, Dexter, Ypsilanti, and Saline.

Each week your sellers will get this report. When you are listing a home it SO critical to stay in touch with your sellers so they know if their home is getting exposed. Not communicating is the biggest reason sellers change Realtors.

I also email myself one so I know the activity of buyers looking at my listings.

Missy - Thanks for pointing this out. I was aware of it, but have not used it yet. Question: does it only work well for single family listings, or should it be used for any type of listing, no matter what?

It is wonderful to have an assortment of items to use in our real estate marketing. It is great to keep up with all of the services that are out there. Missy, thanks for the info. I went right over to Trulia to claim my listings and to check out the client reports. I'm gonna start off sending them to myself before I forward them to my clients. If there are too many weeks in succession without any click thru's I want to know about it before I have my client looking at it.

I just started using Trulia and it's great. I love the reports. I am loading up the vehicle right now with the kids,cartop carrier and bikes and headed north to A2. Can't wait. Thanks for sharing the Trulia Client Listing Report functionality. It's a great tool for those who want to stay in touch with their seller clients. You can select the frequency - weekly or send them manually as you wish.

This can also be a great tool to ad to your listing presentations. It's a great way to stay in touch and top of mind with your sellers.

I wrote a post on the new automated functionality here.

Missy - it's great when we can automate reports. There was a company at NAR that would combine reports from all of the different sites into one, and send it out. There was a small fee for that.
