Memorial Day

Real Estate Agent with MetLife Home Loans

This being the first Memorial Day that I've commemorated since I've had a son, I think I've given more thought to it than in years past.  My grandfather was in the Navy during WWII, and I think he was a great part of shaping my love for my country and our Military people.  My grandfather has been gone for almost 5 years now, and I am looking for ways to pass what he gave me, not just to my son, but my other children as well.  I want the celebration of this day to be a part of that.  I am very thankful that our country has seen fit to have a day to honor those who have and still are defending it.  In light of that:  To all our Armed Forces members and their families, we love you, pray for you and thank you.  God Bless you all.

P.S.  I know this is a real estate blog, but hopefully those nitwits in D.C. will let you FINISH THE JOB.  I'm not done, I'm just stopping:).  Thanks again.

I'm glad that there is so much support for our armed forces.  When I was in the Marines in the 1970s, there wasn't a whole lot of support for us.  At least the support wasn't as vocalized.

Thanks for the reminder of the meaning of Memorial Day.  My dad is retired form the Air Force and I am thankful that he was a part of keeping this Country safe.  Many Thanks to all the men and women now and in the past who have done the same.
