Possibly there are some benefits to the poor economy or the recession, a return to simpler pleasures. The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is offering free fishing lessons for youths under the age of 16 and even provides free rods and reels for the sessions. Youths over 16 can certainly attend but must bring a fishing license. There are a series of eight lessons at various locations in the Omaha area. Each session lasts two hours.
