With Challenges Put Your Thinking Cap On

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty 0575737

Thinking CapI love these management gurus that have these flowery words for what we might use more plain and simple words. Think problems. They call them "challenges." Well

With Challenges Put Your Thinking Cap On.

Challenges allow us to grow by overcoming them and also learning the lesson from them. I can't sell this house of mine. That example I would say is a problem, ahem, challenge. You need to come up with many directions of how to overcome it. I guess if you have to bail yourself out with a lot of cash at the closing table being underwater with your loan balance and the sale price there is a lesson there, like don't buy an overpriced house or maybe you shouldn't sell in a down cycle. But for every "challenge" there are multiple options to solve it.

Some of the people that go the farthest in life are the best at solving problems and even finding the optimum solution.

So toss the dunce cap, don the thinking cap, and knock those challenges out of the way, one by one.

I like that word challenge, Gary.  If we put our thinking caps on, we can find the answer and "win" the challenge! Good post!

Hi Gary

"Some of the people that go the farthest in life are the best at solving problems and even finding the optimum solution. "

A good agent should know how to help their clients solve these problems( real estate related) and a great agent should be able to suggest optimum solutions.

Being involved with our Board of Directors for 5 years and being President for a year allowed me to learn strategic thinking.  It was a great learning experience.

Hi Gary-This line sums it up nicely-"Challenges allow us to grow by overcoming them and also learning the lesson from them."

I have learned lots of lessons. Some more challenging that others. Just learned one as a matter of fact. Lesson learned!!! So it is time to move on. Life is too short for looking back. Cut your losses and move forward. Enjoy your weekend. <SMILE>

Gary, Selling does not start until the first challenge "hits the fan". Challenge is such a good word to use instead of problem. Always enjoy your posts.

Hi Gary, That was an easy challenge, Lower the Price. If it doesn't sell, lower it some more. When all the equity is gone, do a deed in-lieu and call it day. Problem Solved challenge overcome.  LOL

A lot of those challenges remind of one of your past posts that really shined through; the fact that all challenges need a contingency plan.

There are lots of challenging people in the world too. I just remember that God won't give me more challenges than he thinks I can handle. Sometimes I wish he did not trust me so much. I am ready for a coffee break!

When I hear 'challenge', I think in terms of games or competing. 'Problems' sound more like work, and a lot less fun!

I prefer my Cowgirl hat. I think the pressure it puts on my head is like accupuncture - - it makes me feel good, I think better, and it sure makes me fantasize think positively! And ... I'm solving my problems one step at a time. I'm 'righting my course' or as we say in the horse world, I started off on the wrong lead. XXOO
