Joan--Yes we do get tornados.This photo was taken last year and the storm actually was north of us and we didn't get the rain at all but our neighbors in Chisago County had some pretty severe weather with it.

Carole--Aren't they frightening? This storm did not hit but we were on track for some storms this evening...Fortunately, no severe weather for us. Unfortunately, no rain either.

William--I used my Canon IS-30 digital. I saw the storm in the northeast distance and we had bright sunlight from behind in the southwest so I ran in for my camera hoping to show both extremes. But the storm moved past very quickly. I did get a great shot of the moving clouds over this house though...Kind of like the real estate market--Ominous over some homeowners.

Tom--This storm last year was very strong but didn't drop a bit of rain on this house. It was about 5 miles to the north. We could view the action without the experience. Fun to watch storms over the midwest prairies!

Jim&Maria--Exactly! This storm I got to watch from a safe distance. However lightning can be dangerous from miles away. If it looks electrical, I head indoors and refrain from taking photos.

Terry--Unfortuately, we missed the rain, again! It passed to the north. It is officially the driest May since the 1940's in the Twin Cities. Third driest on record...the lakes are literally drying up. Or atleast they are down significantly so boats are hitting rocks and wrecking propellers.

Bill--This was the first house built in a 17 acre development. It is on a one acre lot and though several more are on the plan to be built, it doesn't appear that the others will be selling anytime soon. :)
