I have noticed that some people want to know what I have been doing when it comes to real estate. Once in awhile I write about it to give an insider's look at what happens in the life of a realtor ®. We are the face of the real estate industry so sometimes we are blamed for everything that goes "wrong." However these people do not mention what goes "right."

Down in the trenches so to speak... there are so many things that happen. So many good things. Some people start a new life in a new home. This is hardly ever covered in the local or national media so once in awhile I like to share a glimpse of what I see in the local real estate industry.

This past Thursday I had a closing for one of my listings in Holiday Lake Villas. It was priced right and its location is ideal. It is close to shopping and beaches and it has a clubhouse with a pool. She is very fortunate to have bought it.

Last week I also added another listing. This one is located in New Port Richey. I will add pictures and videos of it later.

This Monday I have a listing appointment for a condo. It is a referral from one of my current sellers. One of the highest compliments is not awards or "medals." I actually shy away from recognition. At least in the Hawaiian culture and how I was raised I was taught at an early age to help so instead of the recognition it's the trust that is entrusted to me through my clients that is a compliment to me. I get alot of referrals which I think epitomizes this trust.

As for offers I have one pending offer on another one of my listings. It is priced below Just Market Value. It is a deal.

Well yesterday my husband and I attended the Taste of Pinellas which is free to attend. However 50% of the proceeds for the food for sale goes to All Childrens' Hospital. As some people already know I was run over by a car when I was six years old so these causes are very important to me.

My husband and I brought our two chairs with us so that we could sit to enjoy the entertainment. We bought the grouper sandwich from Crabby Bill's, a key lime pie, and chocolate chip cookies from the Pie Factory in Largo, Florida. I will post pics later.

Travis Tritt also played. He is amazing! I have some pictures of him as well which I will post later. What amazed me about him is that his concert was free. I have a better appreciation of him and his music because he brought his three children on stage to sing and he dedicated his talent to children. He gets a huge thumbs up from me :)

Well I am off to go biking on the Pinellas Trail with my husband. I always tell people... Florida is amazing :)

A hui hou (until next time)
