Rich Kids Sunday Open House Guide - Edition Deux

By
Real Estate Agent with Rich Kids Real Estate: The Brokerage

Put down your mimosas, finish that last bit of your egg white omelet, and quickly down a bottle of Pellagrino because it is time to hit up this Sunday's open houses. Since last weekend was a holiday weekend and there were limited properties to see, I decided we should all have a weekend free of real estate. Now that the bbq's have cooled off and the Corona's have been finished, it's time to get back down to business. I've got plenty of Hot Props for you to check out and new developments that are beckoning to be toured. Open house hours are from 2pm-5pm with one exception this week. For my Activerain Readers - please forgive the weird layout. I am still tinkering with layouts on my original blog as well as this one!

New Developments (I've included a few from last weeks open house guide for those who missed them):

  • 7917 Willoughby, West Hollywood - Penthouse 7 - 2br/2ba - $995,000 - I'll be hosting this open house so please stop by and say hi. This Sunday only, the showing hours are from 1-3pm. Last unit left in this Lorchan O'Herlihy original.

Condos Worth Checking Out

  • 1222-n-kings1222 North Kings Rd, West Hollywood - 2br/2ba, Roughly 1461 sq ft  - $588,000: This two story unit is a total blank canvas. The interior is pretty generic, but the unit is spacious, has a great flow, and was left in pristine condition. It's a 2 minute walk from Sunset and it's a place you could live in while slowly updating. Not a Hot Prop, but a solid one. Listed by Keller Williams Santa Monica

  • 1145-larrabee1145 Larrabee Street #5, West Hollywood - 2br/1ba, Roughly 870 sq ft - $499,000: Live above the Sunset Strip in this cool, remodeled condo. On the smaller side, but has quite a bit of charm. The building is classic LA mid century with a pool in the middle - very Melrose Place. Definitely worth a look. Listed by Prudential.

  • 960-doheny1960 North Doheny Dr #402, West Hollywood, CA - 2br/2.5ba - $859,000: This unit is very much my style with sleek dark hardwood floors, nice flowing floor plan, and ample windows. Located on Doheny just south of Sunset. Listed by Coldwell Banker

House(s) of Style

  • 7315-waring7315 Waring Ave, Los Angeles - 2br/1ba, Roughly 1263 sq ft - $775,000: This Spanish style house has an uber modern art deco theme internally. With tin ceilings in the dining area and a unique flair not seen too often in this type of property, this home is in a class all it's own. Listed by Coldwell Banker Sunset Strip

  • 10051-cielo10051 Cielo Drive, Beverly Hills, CA - 3br/3ba , $2,995,000 - This is a pricey one, but I am sucker for romantic Spanish style homes. This property has a very warm and inviting feel to it, while still having modern touches. It's a little different than the typical Rich Kids flavor, but I am a big fan of the types of homes that this particular agent lists. Whether you are in the market or not, this might be a fun one just to drop by and check out! Listed by Prudential

  • allenwood-lounge18478 Allenwood, Los Angeles - 4br/3ba, Roughly 2765 sq ft - $1,647,000 - This house is sleek, sexy, and just begs to have a decadent 24 hour pool party. Tucked away in the hills off Laurel Canyon, this property features an amazing pool, indoor/outdoor flow, lots of windows, and chic touches throughout.

New Lofts for Lease Bring the Sexy Back to Fairfax

The 801 - 801 North Fairfax Ave, Los Angeles - A friend of mine who I consider to have amazing taste and personal style just leased a unit in this brand new building. Perched atop retail space, you are in walking distance to literally everything. The prices seem reasonable for such a slick new building, so if you are looking to lease I would pop by to see what it's all about!
