May 2009 residential real estate sales volume in Athens - Clarke County, GA showed another large decline of over 6% in the 12 month sliding sales volume from April. The average Days on Market (D.O.M.) rose again by almost 3%.
Both the average and the median sales prices remained virtually flat, again, and are still both above what they were a year ago.
At the end of May there were 187 pending sales of residential property in Athens - Clarke County. Residential properties include single family homes, duplexes, triplexes, condos, townhouses, mobile and manufactured homes.
