The Price is Right!

SOLD in 4 Days!

This partially constructed home is situated in the upscale community of Oakhurst Golf and Country Club.  The Oakhurst community, located in Clarkston Michigan, has experienced the same challenges as any other when it comes to declining values and excess days on the market for sellers to successfully transfer ownership.

Our recent experience brings the message strongly home again. PRICE is the most important ingredient to successfully attract buyers to a property and thus, create their sense of urgency. As difficult as it is to determine the proper asking price when home values are on the decline, it is the primary factor necessary to reach the sellers objectives.  An aggressive price decision at the onset of marketing a property is the most important decision every seller can make.  Today's real estate climate, particularly in Michigan, requires SMART Choices.

Our subject property received three full price offers within 2 days of hitting the mutiple listing service and negotiations concluded with a fully executed purchase agreement that far exceeded the original asking price.  At the time, we questioned whether the price was too conservative.  When the inquiries quickly seized while the status was still active on our area multi-list, we realized that the PRICE was Just RIGHT!

"The Pearson Group" of Clarkston, Michigan believe that it is their professional responsibility to provide seller's pertinent information so that they are able to make the best decision that will result in their success.

Jeff,

Thanks much for the congrats!  Our Michigan market, like many, has been quite the challenge.  It's a pleasant experience when our recommendations are followed and it's the seller's who reap the benefit.  Hope all is well in Mississippi.

Kay and Robin,

This is a nice site.  Congratulations on sale of the Oakhurst property.  It was always extremely difficult to get the homes listed at the realistic prices when I did real estate back in Chicago.  I think honesty and sincerity goes a long way when you are dealing with owner's personal attachment and pride - of their homes.  I can tell that you take care of your clients with heart and I am sure that it helps when you have their trust, especially when they know you have their interest at the top of your agenda.  Keep up the nice work!!!
