Send All Your Listings to Twitter with Tweetlister!

Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Executive Realty 91362

How would you like to send all your listing very easily to Twitter without a lot of work? Well now you can with Tweetlister! Best of all this service is FREE!

Signing up for Tweetlister is easy. All you have to do is provide your Twitter username and password and start adding your listings to a quick information form (shown below). You are able to link right into your website as well as a virtual tour you may have for a property.

What a great way to drive more traffic to your website with the potential to have more client sign ups!

Tweetlister Real Estate form

According to the site: "TweetLister is perfect for real estate brokers and owners who are selling, renting or leasing properties of all types -- residential, commercial, vacation, land and others. It gives you an easy and convenient way to quickly create Twitter-friendly "tweets" without any guesswork.

Every TweetLister tweet links to a detail page, which includes all of your information, an optional photo of your property, a link to your website or your own property detail page, and a contact form that sends you the information by email. Using TweetLister's control panel, which you will see as soon as you login, you can access statistics about your listings, you can adjust the features and pricing in the listing, and you can view and download leads for each listing -- so you don’t miss a potential deal!

If you're looking for real estate, use our Search Listings feature -- a way to locate Twitter real estate listings by the criteria that matters to you. You'll see listings from TweetLister tweets and regular Twitter tweets, and be able to easily contact any seller using our contact form.

TweetLister was created by web veterans Lloyd Chrein, Mark Schleimer and Prerak Parikh, who have worked together for more than a decade creating websites and web-based tools for real estate companies of all kinds. With the advent of Twitter, and the tremendous potential it offers for reaching millions of people quickly and easily, Lloyd, Mark and Prerak instantly saw the need for a web tool that would help brokers and owners post, manage and schedule their Twitter listings in a friendly, familiar way".

For many reasons this could be a tremendous social marketing tool. We all know how powerful Twitter has become and will just continue to grow. As Twitter becomes more recognized with the general population and not just those who enjoy social media marketing, think about all the possibilites.

How about showing a seller at a listing presentation how you will be using this tool to show off their home to the masses! I know as a leading Massachusetts Realtor, one of my goals is to always give my clients a dominant online position. Tweetlister is just another tool to add to an already large arsenal.

As a side note, it looks like my article about Tweetlister was picked up by an established Tweetlister News site.

Lots of good responses in the comment section and about the use of Tweetlister. I have mixed feeling about it as you can see from two separate blog posts that I've written on the topic. Three weeks ago I attended a webinar sponsored by Cyberhomes and the speaker said they were not too thrilled aboout Tweetlister, which was shocking to me.

It would be nice if tweetlister has an idx feature and I could simply add my listing to MLS and just enable it to post to mt tweetlister account. I think this is a feature of the Tweetlister Pro, but not sure.

In any case, I specifically wanted to comment on something Bill said, post number 47 above. I have done what Bill suggested way before reading this post where I have two separate Twitter accounts: one for my personal life and another for my real estate life. More specifically, I use tweetlister even though I have mixed feelings about it and I don't worry about offending people with autoretweets of my listing since the people who choose to follow me are doing so because they want to read or hear what's happening in my business. I do try to figure out who left my followers list and see if there is anything that I can do different or ask why did I lose that person.

As an agent, I think it's ok to autoretweet your listings every 3 or 5 days at a specific time as to remind your followers what you have for sell, i.e. your product.

In any case, having the two accounts is a bit of a pain since I have to ask myself who am I today and what do I want to say. It's alot to be committed to.

Wondering if other people have multiple personalities on Twitter and if they find it useful.

Oh, if you are interested in my posts about tweetlister and Twitter, look no further. I've been blogging about these topcis for a while now and would much appreciate your feedback.
