Kim.. thanks for making with the joke, they are always appreciated. I don't know if anyone else noticed this but it looks like the home owners also strung a phone line through the door opening...this is a red-neck renovation if ever I saw one.

Where was Bubba when my smoke alarm battery started chirping a few weeks ago. I actually went out and bought a new combo smoke alarm/carbon monoxide detector alarm.

I actually haven't seen that style of Jiffy Pop in decades. I wonder if it's been hanging there that long, or do I just not see that style in the grocery stores because I'm looking for the microwave popcorn.

I heard a stat that only 50% of fire alarms work in a fire, heck I would say that one would work 100% of the time. Where is my staple gun?

Why not? You have something to snack on while the firemen put out the fire. Oh yeah, sweet!

Your home should be equipped with functioning smoke alarms. The NFPA recommends having one alarm on each level of your home, inside each bedroom and outside each sleeping area. Test alarms monthly and replace batteries twice a year.
