Desert Falls International Sports Resorts are taking steps build a 920 acre $500 million sports complex in Mesquite Nevada - Paul Morris of Desert Falls called it “the premier location for amateur sports in the United States.” The Mesquite sports complex may also draw in professional athletes for off-season training.
The impact of the new Mesquite sports complex will be huge for Mesquite Nevada’s local economy. National athletic events will draw in massive amounts of people - filling up every hotel room in Mesquite and in nearby St. George Utah. We will even bring business to Las Vegas - 75 miles from Mesquite.
Besides the boost to tourism and local housing, Paul Morris of Desert Falls International Sports Resorts has expressed the need to hire locally as much as possible to eventually fill up to 500 full time positions at the sports complex and creating a wealth of job opportunities for Mesquite NV residents.
Adidas athletic company has already committed to the project. When fully completed, a weekend event could draw as many as 10,000 participants and spectators to Mesquite at one time - and our current population is about 20,000. We all better get our guest rooms ready!
