10 Sunny Ridge in Garden Valley, Id. is one of those mountain log cabins where lifetime memories are created. Views, Views, Views, is the first thing that comes to mind when you stand on the deck and look out at the panoramic mountain scape that surrounds this cabin. As far as the eye can see there are mountain views. There are two decks that you can enjoy the views from and they are at just the right difference in heights that the view from the top deck is totally opposite then the view from the bottom deck.
The cabin is nestled on its lot so that it is not close to any neighbors so you feel like you are completely remote yet this gem has year round access. There is a fire pit in the back yard that over the years has been the site of many a marshmallow being roasted for a family night of smores. The back yard lights are set on motion sensors that are off while you are outside by the fire admiring the stars. But when your glass is empty and it is time for more refreshment s soft lights turn on so you can safely see to get into the house. There is a small grass area around the fire pit that will require very little maintenance allowing you more time to recreate and relax. There are large healthy trees all over the property but the owner has maintained the property always being cautious of a fire so everything it trimmed down to prevent over growth on the entire acre.

The Cabin is in the Castle Mountain Creek Subdivision which has road maintenance agreements and a community geothermal pool and spa. There is excellent access from this property onto a full trail system and snowmobile trails. Whatever outdoor adventure you are looking for you can find it within minutes of this property.
Recently, I was inside the home and the owner , who must be a gourmet chef in his spare time, was cooking a curry pork recipe and the home smelt wonderful! It was all I could do to not to pull up a chair to the table and make myself at home in this very comfortable setting. From the paper bag textured walls, to the log accents, and the designer colored wall accents, this cabin just feels like home. The kitchen is set up to be very functional and has a large amount of work space and a nice size pantry. From the moment you enter this cabin you want to make it home.
There are two bedrooms up stairs. They are both large but one has a wall of windows and the other has a sliding door out to a wonderful deck that takes in the panoramic mountain views. The bedroom with the windows has a little nook perfect for a single bed.
The bedroom with the deck is large enough that it also has a terrific seating area . One of my favorite ways to spend an afternoon is curled up with a good book and this cabin draws you in and makes you want to pull out a blanket and sit down and enjoy the view out the windows or from out on the decks and never leave. I can not say enough how peaceful this area is or how amazing the views are from this cabin.
I was at the cabin a few days ago taking pictures and I had been walking around the deck when something moved out of the corner of my eye. There was a deer and she was standing in the yard eating grass. I stopped and took pictures of her and was amazed by how comfortable she was with my being so close to her. When I would stop and look at her she would look up and wag her tail...... yes......... she would stop eating, look at me and wag her tail. This cabin already ranked high in my book of favorite homes here in Garden Valley but after spending some time on the deck with the deer....... This is my new favorite cabin on the market in Garden Valley, Idaho.
