May 2009 was the best month yet since I started in real estate four years ago. It did require long hours, diligent work, and persistence, but at the end of the day it was all worth it. It allowed me to reach higher grounds, to push my boundaries, to increase my sphere of influence, to play a bigger game.
What contributed to my success:
1. Making a decision to make it and not be effected by "outside forces", but putting my own inner forces to work: my own INTENTION, my own ETHICS, my own SKILLS.
2. Promoting heavily. When others felt they had to cut back and economize on their promotion, I would outflow more than ever before.
3. Keeping a positive attitude. I know we lost a lot of agents to the recent market changes. During all these more challenging times, I kept wanting and planning to grow against all odds and I did. Each year since I got into real estate I have been able to increase my production.
4. To produce better results against all odds, I had to become smarter, more efficient, use better tools, use better time management. In a way my work has become easier than ever before. I run a fine-tuned machinary now while in the earlier market I worked on intuitions.
5. I started using L. Ron Hubbard's unshakable Administrative and Management technology to improve conditions in my business. As part of this, I started tracking my statistics on graphs, and each week I would evaluate them, and apply the exact steps as outlined in the applicable policies.
6. I have written goals for every area of my life, and I set weekly quotas for my business to achieve my goals. Then I create daily battle plans to work toward those goals and quotas on a daily basis.
7. I surrounded myself with positive people: people that have winning attitudes, people that trust themselves, trust me, and believe that a better future can be created.
I hope I can inspire some of you out there with my blog entry.
Have a happy and productive day!
