West Seattle is a wonderful place to live. It seems everyone I've talked to who has moved to West Seattle never want to leave. Its as if some alien life form sucks them in to the area and has a grasp on them and won't let go.
And why should they want to leave? They have all the amenities usually just blocks away in any one direction. Fast, easy access to downtown, Qwest and Safeco, the ferries, I-5, I-90 the list goes on. Not to mention the waterfront'.
There seems to be more neighorhoods than most cities, each with its own charisma and flavor.
Most Homes here were built in the 1920's to 1960's. However, history says that West Seattle is where the first white settlers landed and Chief Seattle built them a cabin for shelter to keep them from the elements.
This home is a far cry from the cabin that the Chief might have built.
It sits proud with a more modern design than its neighbors but not so much as to stand out.
The interior living space is naturally lit from the westerly view and has the sun dripping in most of the day.
these picture demonstrates the open, spacious floor plan that is very rare in this area.

As not to sway from the things that are hard to find in West Seattle is that this home has parking for your toys as well. This owners motor home fits easily next to the 2 car attached garage.
Contact me if I can help you find a home such as this!
