100,000 Points

                                                                                                                                 
Thanks to my AR friends, I am at my goal of 100,000 2 days early.  This post puts me over my 100,000 points. My goal was to reach 100,000 by June 15, 2009 --- a week ago, I wasn't sure that I was going to make it.  However, I was determined.

So, I wrote a post asking for help from by AR friends -- They came through with great suggestions and many comments on my posts -- every point counted to get me here ---

Some commented on the post of mine -- "Why is this goal important?" "When you reach the goal, then what?"

The goal is important because it is just a part of my journey in the Active Rain family.  Also, I like to set short term goals in everything I do --- it keeps me motivated.  Now, that I have reached it, what next?

Well, what do you think?  200,000 ---- but I have not set a date for that yet.  Basically the first 100,000 took me a little less than 5 months.  I'm not going to push myself like this again.  So, we'll have to see about that date.

When is a contract ratified? (edit/delete)

In SC, a contract is supposed to have all signatures and if there are any changes, each change must be initialled by all parties and the initials dated.  This is SC license law.  Well, I have just had a situation where the contract missed buyer's initials on 2 important changes (to the buyer) in the contract and it is being argued by the seller's attorney that it is a ratified contract.  Also, none of the initials were dated as is required.

The fight is still going on --- buyer does not want to close and argues that he does not have a ratified contract - seller argues that the contract is ratifed.
