Gerry,

Those are awesome photos of the deer and mountains.  Looks like a perfect place to go hiking but I'm afraid I couldn't make up that high.

Gerry I really like the way the sunny field and the deer are in such contract to the valley below. Good shot!

Connie,

You don't need to worry.  We also have some great hiking trails that don't involve any slopes or steep hills.  One of my favorites is the hiking trail at Wild Bill Lake.  You can see some of the views by checking an earlier post of mine: Wild Bill Lake - Red Lodge, Montana .  Thanks for commenting and have a great Sunday!

Mary,

Thank you for the nice comment.   Have a great Sunday!

Robert,

You are welcome.  Have a great Sunday!

Pat,

Thank you for dropping by to comment.   Have a great Sunday!

Awesome photos.  I am reminded of Heidi when I see them!  Replace the deer with a goat and it's Heidi time!

Gerry - You really capture some amazing views there in Montana!  My sister lived in your state (Helena) for a few years, and talks about it's beauty all the time.

Marianne,

No trouble with the Pine Bark Beatle.

Connie,

Thank you for sharing that and for the nice comment.

John,

Thank you.

Sharon,

Thanks.  I am glad it reminded you of Heidi.

Jim and Maria,

Very serene look indeed.  Thanks.

Myrl,

Thank you.   I hope you got the chance to visit your sister when she used to live in Helena.

Marc,

The deer are quite common to spot around here.  They do love it here.

Lovely spot, lovely shot!  Very peaceful, for man and deer!  Had she wandered away from her group or was she out on her own?  We rarely see just one...except when they come into town, Hubs saw one running up the road in front of our house and we live just blocks from a very busy 6 lane road!
