The Palm Springs Follies first opened back in December of 1936. Mr. Earl Strebe the manager and owner, offered the show Camille, as the first performance given, now historic and a classic picture show . Not only did the Plaza Theatre immerse you in a bygone culture and way of entertainment that is difficult to find today, but also they boasted performers such as Frank Sinatra, Donald O'Connor, and many other big stars. These well known actors and performers were the limelight of the shows, and helped to make the Plaza Theatre a popular place back in the day. The Palm Springs Follies is a world famous, Broadway caliber celebration of the music, dance, and comedy of the 30's, 40's, and 50's with a cast old enough to have lived it. It you have not seen this show, it's a must on your next visit.

Elaine: There seem to be a lot of things to do in Palm Springs. I would of thought it was just a relaxing place. I guess I am wrong on that.
