OLD SKOOL! Not when it comes to Real Estate!

By
Real Estate Agent with Century21 AAIM

I can't possibly dream about how Realtors did their jobs before computers!

I can not believe that a Realtor 20 yrs ago could possibly give the level of service AND to the # of clients we do.

Just the access to comps, searches, maps, court records, tax records, property disclosures, Google streetview(seriously!?), instantaneous communication thru email and text, and neighborhood databases. Just the tip of the iceberg!

Dont forget day planning, reminders, flyers, printing, and many more functions.

When it comes to being OLD SKOOL, Im the 1st in line for some RUN-DMC or Sugar Hill Gang but when it comes to buying and selling homes I love my TECHNOLOGY!

Richard, that IS AMAZING! How did they do it??? Also, they had very few disclosures and other docs. One Realtor told me the contract used to be one page! I'm pretty PC literate, but I'm just now getting into Facebook, Twitter, Craiglist, Texting, etc.

Technology provides us with a ton of advantages yet I can gurantee we have all still complained about it a time or two.

This had me laughing, remembering.

I didn't have a cell phone when I started, but pulled over and used pay phones.   I also remember the first fax machines with the roll of paper.

Lenders brought funds in the form of checks to the closing table.  Yes, real live checks.

I could go on and on... :-)
