My meeting with a Sci-Fi Legend & King of paranormal
At 1:30 pm in Snowflake Arizona 6-14-2009 a young lady with blond hair approached me and asked are you Robert Swetz? She then said to me that Travis was inside waiting to meet me. I grabbed my note book, camera and said Nu Nu let's get inside to meet Travis.
Now before I get into the meeting of Travis Walton I need to explain how our meeting came about, and if any of you believe in "Things happen for a reason" or "We live in a small world" this story is going to make you a believer.
I have always been interested in Sci-Fi and paranormal stuff ever since I was very young. I have seen several ghosts in my life and yes have seen some alien beings around 20 years ago, but that's another story, bog or book.
I saw the movie "Fire in the Sky" a very long time ago and was always very fascinated by it. I have always been fascinated with Area 51 and Rachel Nevada. So in the year of 2009 I have visited Rachel Nevada and Area 51 several different times and I had never been there my whole life.
I became interested again in UFOs, Aliens and the Paranormal and went out and purchased my second copy of "Fire in the Sky" which was very hard to find. Started watching it and thought to myself I wonder if Travis Walton still lives in Snowflake Arizona? I posted a blog and the URL is down below and then I posted several other blogs about Snowflake Arizona, the movie "Fire in the Sky" and then finally that I was going to meet some one famous.
I had planned go to Snowflake to ask around town if Travis Walton still lived there and where he had been abducted, etc. Then out of the blue I was able to get his phone number, called him and asked him if I could buy him lunch because I was driving down to Snowflake, he said sure!
What are the chances of this ever happening, calling some one out of the blue that doesn't even know a thing about me and meeting with me for lunch?
(Below) is a DVD sleeve from the movie "Fire in the Sky" that Travis signed for me. I spoke with him for around two hours, took some photographs and there is even bigger news to come!
