Wendy--Preston sounds like quite the fighter! :) Hopefully the community will all be out to support this little guy's recovery. What a trying time for the family. I am certain they appreciate any and all support they receive.

Wendy, what an awful accident, that hurts just thinking about it!  I will pray for 4-year-old Present and the Loyd family today.  God bless you for reaching out and helping others in need in your community.

Hi Wendy, How incredibly tragic for this family!   What great inspiration to see an entire community pulling together to help this family in need.

Marchel, yes God is awesome isn't he.  It has been interesting to watch this little boy recover a little piece at a time.  None of the first responders thought he had even a chance of surviving the first night.  It was just awful.

Teri, The community and literally across the world has a prayer chain going that is unbelievable.  Little Preston is a fighter.  I can't wait to see him running the halls of our church again.

Regina,  The family appreciates the prayers.  I'm helping with the event for Preston but I didn't think of the idea or put any of it together.  I am just helping day of and trying to help get word out but looks like it will be a big turnout.

Sandy, It was just horrible worse than your worst nightmare.  But they do feel the love of ppl across the world sending cards, signing CB guest book and all the support.  One of our local tire changers (Nascar) won a $10,000 prize and signed it over to the family.  He also goes to our church and said he knew the family needed it more than he did.  Marty Smith with ESPN wrote a post on it.  I'll see if I can find it and link it.

Wendy, So how did the event turn out?  Hopefully that day is coming soon where he will be running around your Church again.
