Real Estate Internet Marketing: VIDEO Case Study #1

Real Estate Agent with WEICHERT, REALTORS - Access Realty

During our last release of the Real Estate Rocket Fuel Training Course, an agent in the Atlanta area (Jason) picked up a copy of the course and started implementing what he learned.

Here's the thing:  Jason has only been licensed about 3 and a half weeks.

His goal?  To get his site to Page One of Google

I decided to "video" his progress and provide some constructive criticism for him and have just gotten permission to show you a few of the "critiques" of his blogs.  Now - you can take his mistakes and learn from them on the do's and don'ts.

I am presenting these videos over the next few days and weeks. (so if you want them all, the best thing to do is subscribe to this blog).

In this first video, what you will learn is the importance of using the keyword phrase in your posts, how to get free content to put on your blog (cool - no brainer), and you'll get some insight on post scheduling.

The point of all of this is to get the blog into a stream of traffic online that already exists and capture leads from it.

Hope you get something out of it you can use,

Realty agents use various tools and techniques to market themselves to try and generate new business and get listings. Promotional Video is one tool that can help create a sense of rapport between a realtor and their prospective client when perusing your web site. Writing content for you marketing script can be a bit daunting, but can easily be broken down into various pieces to flow effortlessly off of the actors lips when he or she speaks about you and your capabilities.

Essentially the three areas of a video constitute the opening, the hook and the close. The opening sets the stage for presenting the agent in a favorable manner and creates an instant impression of market experience and customer focus. After the opening, the hook builds upon the groundwork put in place by touting the agents abilities to develop a unique marketing plan for the customer and sets them apart from competing agents and real estate companies. The close completes the script by summarizing all of the reasons why the agent is the best choice for the current seller and creates a sense of urgency why they should contact the agent.

The close wraps up the entire package that represents the realty agent as a professional who can take care of their needs and meet their objectives when selling their home. A realty agent marketing plan should include a 60 second video for their website to set them apart from the rest of the pack.

If you struggle in creating your own marketing script, remember to breakdown the content into 3 parts; the open, the hook and the close. This will help in developing a crisp and concise script that will make a memorable impression and gets the prospect to call you when they are ready.
