When you buy a home do ask your professional about Mortgage Credit Certificates for your county?? Most won't tell you about them because they don't know about them. There are very few lenders and banks that are able to process these and the savings is very significant. You can save 20% of the interest you pay on a mortgage every year for the entire time you have your loan. If you are going through the process it is absolutely something to take a look into.
