We're talking the BLATANT advertising that has absolutely nothing to do with the post and most times, not even real estate.

I don't know about that, but I am seeing an increase in spam in general, people contacting me through AR...because I have just won $1,000,000
They seem to be finding us everywhere. I just had one on my website too - From another website provider, no less.
Of course more and more are using the contact me button as well. Then they end up in our email and not as a comment. Just as annoying or maybe even more so.
I'm receiving emails from bogus AR member's, too, and forward them to Active Rain. I've had to disable comments on several posts because of numerous spam comments with links to drug sites. They just keep coming up with more scams.
Yes, spam is coming in regularly and many times it is the same person. Lizzy seems to be one.
Not sure where they get the time, maybe they need to get a real estate license so they can be busy doing real work.

I have gotten several spam emails this week from people wanting to love me forever. I didn't realize I could report them, thanks for the info.
Connie - I didn't realize that you get points for reporting a concern. I do nee to look through my older post and clean them up.
