Last summer Darcy and I went to Portland for a few days. It was a great time, we got rain almost everyday that we were there. I don't know if that is normal for Portland or not, we have only been there the one time. I must repeat, that is some of the most beautiful scenery that I have ever seen. The weather was nice and warm when the sun was out, but it would cloud up and rain each day.
This summer I think that Portland and the Pacific Northwest came to us. For over two weeks we have enjoyed cloudy and cool days, with rain at some part of the state each day. I am not sure if I buy into the global warming stuff or not. We had one of the the longest coldest winters that I can remember, and we have followed it up with the rainiest June that I can remember.
Normally we are dry and warm if not downright hot by this time of the year. This June I don't know if we have hit 90 degrees yet. I am not complaining, it is just a very different temperature and storm pattern than we normally see. It is still a great time to buy and sell houses! Cedar City is as green as I can remember seeing it. The temperature is nice an pleasant. On our journey to Northern Utah, we had rain each day that we were there, it was also very green and beautiful.
I am really just rambling, I am only saying that it is a glorious time to come and visit us, the heat is staying away, (knock on wood), it is green and very beautiful! If you are thinking of buying or selling in Cedar City, please contact us, we would love to earn your business!
