I absolutely love this footage of an 11 year-old boy that can remember his past life and how he resolves the trauma by revisiting the place of his last death:

I once heard that native americans used to live by the rule "whatever you choose to do today think of the next 25 generations and how they will be effected by it". I love this concept. The idea that we'll come back for many more lives to come, if every single person realized that "We only live once" is a false datum, it would change man's attitude toward live, toward fellow human beings, the environment, the use of toxic materials, how we treat and educate our children (who will become our parents and leaders in lifetimes to follow).
People tend to dramatize what bad things have been done to them in the past.
Say you beat your kids every time they have done something mischievious. It could happen that you "drop your body" come back and be born as the child of your own child, who now dramatizes beating his kid like his parents used to beat him. In essense you get the same beating back that you once had passed down the line (and you probably received from your parents, who may have been your current kids).
How about you decide to stop the aberration and treat your kids, friends, clients, the garbage man, the cleaning lady, your teachers, your grandparents, etc. with respect so they can pass something positive onto the future generations to which you will return.
Good thing is, we could carry over talents and skills from past lifetimes, like Mozart who wrote his first piece when he was 3 years old.
Okay, enough chicken soup for the soul for today :-)
