To GREEN or not to GREEN that is the question...

By

I have been considering getting a GREEN designation and after reading the blogs on this designation, I am confused...

I thought going green and reducing our carbon footprint was necessary and important. Once I read a few blogs on it I am stuck...

Some say it is good, some say it can have a backlash in the consumer outlook.

I think going green is good...

What do you think?

I'm not convinced the designation with get you buyers frankly.

If you want to do it for the doing then fine but these designations I think are "overrated!"

Hi Angela,  Welcome to my  fellow Abilenian.  It's nice to o have company here online!

I think there are loads of blog posts waiting to be written on going green.  Right now with the economy shrinking, it is time to think about how to make the Green, less green $ bills.  The basics are best for right now here in West TExas, Caulking air leaks and  adding additional insulation to seal out all that hot air would be good investments and not too much green outgo.
