I have a new listing on Lake Washington. The home is in Kenmore and features 62 feet of no-bank waterfront, moorage for 3-4 boats and it has 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. All primary rooms face the lake! Rather than me writing about it, check out the video I made on the house!
A home on the water will always be a great investment, a source of relaxation and pleasure, a way to bond with nature and as a family, and this one won't be available for a price like this forever. If I can get my parents to chip in, this might be my chance but times are tough so I'm not counting on it. But I can still dream. I dream of teaching my kids - and grandkids - to sail, showing them storms coming in over the water, maybe sharing special moments by the fire. All the time knowing I'm leaving them a legacy...a house on the water may well be priced completely out of reach by the time my kids grow up.
This place has such character, it's like a wonderful book full of delightful details and interesting happenings...not a dull bland cookie cutter McHouse but something special and unique. I really wish I could get it, and I hope that the people who do love it and appreciate how lucky they are.
