For over four years, I've sat open house almost every weekday in Sun City West. During that time I've had the opportunity to meet a number of really nice potential buyers. Unfortunately most of these people needed to go back home and sell their house. Today I received this email from a buyer that I showed properties to almost 2 years ago. They have seen all of the Arizona West Valley retirement communities and decided on a home in Sun City West.

"Well, finally we sold our home here in Tennessee. Our closing is July 28th. So much to do & now for sure I won't be bored. We are flying out to Phoenix this Saturday to purchase our home in Sun City West. We know that our realtor, Leolinda will find us our retirement home. We will keep you all posted."

This email was sent to their friends and family as well as myself. The email was addressed to almost 20 email addresses. Wow, I am "their realtor"!

I live here, I work here, I know this community!

Do you have referral connections (outbound) for others when they wind up at your open houses? You know there are alot of great connections right here in the Rain. You might consider that when meeting out of the area buyers.

Gary, it has been my experience that I won't have to ask for a testimonial, they will ask me if they can write one. :-)

Vickie, they told me another agent haphazardly showed showed them property. They thought that the agent treated them disrespectfully because they still needed to sell their house.
