this is the Kayak I built last year. I have been thinking about building another one, and Hoping the rain will stop so we can use the darn thing!
It is almost 18 feet long, shown here almost done, Many coats of varnish, and the hatches were hanging waiting for a coat of varnish to dry. If you search my tags "stitch and glue kayak" you will see pics of the construction...
That's a beautiful kayak, Robert. I have a friend who goes out kayaking as often as he can. I would think you would want more rain so that your son could get going off the front lawn! :)

Every time I went kayaking, we had to load everything up on the car, travel for hours, and then get all wet. I like his way better -- LOL.
Now if you lived in Hawaii he could be bouncing on the waves instead of mowing grass with his paddle!
