OMG..Have Our Buyers Decided It is Our New Normal; Son Did Get to Iraq..Life Goes On..

By
Real Estate Agent with Reece and Nichols Realtors

First of all, Real Estate has improved since when I last wrote...The buyers are beginning to get off the fence and buy. I believe the buyers are now getting to understand the "new normal" of our country and its problems.

The interest rates are beginning to move up a tad; and so they have decided to finally listen! We have been writing a lot of contracts for 1st time home buyers and also our listings for homes in that 1st time home buyers are selling! Thank you God!

I'm also starting to see the upper range of homes have more movement than in the first quarter of this year. I am glad that quarter is gone. I am focused on what is happening now and how we can help our buyers and sellers get what they are looking for.

On the radio show, I do on Saturdays, we have been talking about what we are now witnessing....I pray the government will continue to help the economy with not hindering the housing market any further.

I believe we also are now contending with the new regs in place July 30, with the TIL statements and how that can effect our closing dates that we want. It is so important to really know that yourself, as an agent and then relay that on to your buyers and sellers. You need to be their coach!

Now, turning away from Real Estate....My son did go to Iraq and is still there. He is NorthEast of Baghad. He is doing the best that he can with the 115 degrees that he is in...He will have some stories when he gets out of there. Again, that is his passion and I am very proud of my son and the other men and women that serve our country! Please do not forget them in your prayers and thoughts.

Until the next time I write........Enjoy Life! Becky (The Diva Team Leader)

I know you are proud of your son, please tell him that we all thank him for his service.  My son in law has done 6 tours in Iraq but was recently stationed in Florida as an instructor where he should be for the next 4 years.
