First-time Homebuyers in Virginia

Meeting up with first-time homebuyers this afternoon to close on their new townhouse in Sterling.  This young, newly engaged couple, really knew little about the homebuying process, so they were totally dependent upon my knowledge and guidance.  This is why I love my job!  I met them first when they needed a home to rent, and when they were ready to buy, they contacted me again.  From getting pre-approved for a loan, to writing a stong offer and responding to the home inspection, the appraisal process, other contingencies, and preparing for closing, I was able to assist and serve them.  This is my 5th engaged couple this spring to make a wise decision to take advantage of the tax credit, low rates, and reduced home prices.  What a rewarding experience -- for all of us!
