The north Dallas MLS meeting this week had one of the best speakers we have had in a very long time.
Jill Lane is certified nutritionist and her presentation consisted of several simple ways to improve you life through proper nutrition.
Some of her high points were make sure we always drink plenty of water each day. Her recommendation is that you drink one half of your body weight in ounces of water each day. Try not to eat at least two hours before going to bed. Drinking six cups of green tea is the equivalent of burning 500 calories each day. Get at least eight hours of sleep each day, and that each hour of sleep you miss, your brain function is decreased by 10%.
