Oh I know what a ferry is! LOL Up here in MA we can take one to Nantucket, Block Island, Long Island (a few hours drive to get to that ferry) and Martha's Vineyard. I love it, very fun to take a day trip or even a short getaway on the ferry.
Do you have whale watches out there? That's another fun day trip you can plan at Boston Harbor.

Josh, I have been on that exact ferry ride that you referred to . I love the ferry. It does make for a great beginning to a fun day.

Hi Jerry ~ Yup - we've got ferries! In addition to the ones Kathleen mentioned there's a Boston Harbor Islands ferry, a ferry to Provincetown, a ferry on Lake Winnipesaukee, and the ones I've been on most often - from Maine to Canada. I'm sure there are more but those are the ones that come to mind. Fun ride!

I am not taking one daily but we have one to Lummi Island locally and also those out of Vancouver area and Anacortes.
