Professional Licensing and Certified Residential Appraisal Program

BEGINS on 6/27 or on 7/6/09 Next Class October/November 2009

Our courses are approved by the New York State Department of State (DOS) and meet the educational requirements of the Appraisal Qualifications Board (AQB).  Our courses include all text books for each course. Our Package includes all books, manuals, the courses and the final exams.

  • LICENSED AND LICENSED ASSISTANT IN NEW YORK STATE:

  • Education Required for Licensed and Licensed Assistant Appraiser Regulations  (a High School Diploma is required for Licensing and Licensed Assistant)

  • 7 Specific Appraisal Courses with exams- Courses must be taken in sequential order (USPAP can be taken in any order)

  •  

  • State Licensed Residential Real Estate Appraiser/Appraiser Assistant (150 hours)

  • Basic Appraisal Principles (R-5) 30 hours..................................................$ 395   $285*  7/6, 7, 8, 9, (6-10:30pm)  7/11 (8-5pm) 7/19 (8-11am)

  • Basic Appraisal Procedures (R-6) 30 hours...............................................$ 395   $285*  7/13, 14, 15, 16 (6-10:30pm)  7/18 (8-5pm) 7/19 (8-11am)

  • Residential Market Analysis and Highest/best Use (R-7) 15 hours..........$ 275  $140*   7/20, 21, 22, 23, (6-10:30pm) 

  • Residential Appraiser Site Valuation and Cost Approach (R-8) 15 hrs.  $ 275  $240*   7/25 (8-5pm) 7/26 (8-3pm)

  • CERTIFIED RESIDENTIAL APPRAISER IN NEW YORK STATE:

  • Education requires an Associates Degree or 21 approved college credit hours (NYS has courses required-call 518-474-4429)
