Very few days are actually normal - how could they be? Just think, for something to be "normal" it has to be an average of events over time - including the extremes.
Take temperature. If the normal high is 72 and the normal low is 59, we might actually experience that a few times. How often though do we hear that we are experiencing above average or below average temperatures - a heat wave or a cold front?
If it normally rains or snows a certain amount at a time or per year, does that mean it does this everytime? Of course not. It's an average.
If we normally have a cup of coffee on the way to office each morning, some days we will go without and some days we'll have something to eat along with it.
If customers normally look at so many homes with us before they buy or return to look at the one they ultimately buy so many times before they purchase it, there will be those who buy the first thing they look at, the first time out. There will be others that take weeks. So what's normal? It's an average.
If we normally have to stop at 3 red lights out of the several traffic lights that we pass on the way to office, sometimes we'll get lucky and have none or one. Sometimes, we'll get them all, or all but one.
So, we typically don't live a normal existence or experience any truly normal days - just in case you were wondering.
