Aloha,

What is it that stops us from anything in life? If we are honest the answer is usually fear. The what ifs that keep us awake at night wondering " What if the sky falls?". The few basic objections I hear about what stops people from buying in Hawaii is #1 its too expensive #2 I'm only going to be hear for 3 years. Let's take a moment and examine both of these objection's

It's too expensive!!!

Yes Real Estate in Hawaii is expensive. I have a close Realtor friend   that  swears  you buy land in Hawaii andget a " Free House". The Median price of a home in Hawaii is  currently  around   $570,000. Please double check my figures with you Real Estate expert as I am the lowly "Money Guy". Now just ten years ago the median price was $300,000. Hawaii Real Estate has basically doubled in value every 12-14 yrs since 1960. Now I'm not saying your going to have a wonderful Real Estat    story like they did in the early part of the 21st century, but we are unique in the sense that we have a limited supply of land, Once building stops, and someday it will, Real Estate  willgo through the roof and the  only people that will be able to afford it will more then likely be the Chinese. * Mental note: learn how to speak Chinese. We will cover the 2nd objection in my next blog. Thank You for stopping by.

That's all Folks
