When my husband reached "that 'Am I really that old?' age" - all I can say is - I was hoping he'd go for some cool convertible that we'd pick up in some great vacation spot.
It didn't happen - but that's OK. Yesterday, he decided to go to Dickinson, Texas tomorrow to meet an old man named Clint, who starts his sentences with a good 'ole southern drawl that usually includes these words: "We ain't got that ... ."
So today I have to help my husband find Dickinson! And a place to stay for the night. And of course, a good place to eat!
So what does this have to do with real estate? Not a whole lot. Though Clint says the truck my husband wants can "pull yer house right off it's slab."
Alright then!
But it does remind me that when working with clients moving to the City of Tucson - it's important to know about all the other smaller, surrounding towns such as:
... because someone I meet will want to know where one of these towns are and how to get there. And of course, where's the best place to eat and stay!
But first, I better work on find out more about Dickinson. Clint says, "Just fly 'em inta Houston and he'll figure it from there."
Alrighty then!
