Last June of 08, I wrote a blog post, "Stress Gotcha". One of my goals was to get a kayak for stress relief. My husband bought me a kayak this year and I paddled the river.........Ya baby!
Relieve Stress? Yikes! Very nerve racking at first, because my husband gave me a real hefty shove into the river from the bank and the kayak wobbled and wobbled with me yelling as I knew I was going to roll over. He was standing on the shore yelling, "relax, just relax". Easy for him to say, at that moment I was thinking, oh, my gosh, I believe he was trying to kill me.
Well, I finally was able to catch my breath and relax and I really enjoyed it. I had such a good time.
What a rush, I was accomplishing one of my goals. I can't wait to get out there again.
