There's almost nothing more inspiring than the light of the sun breaking through on a dark cloudy day. Yes, we live "almost" under the power lines, but it's almost impossible to have space like this in the City. Scenes like this make it all worthwhile ... those are the Cascade foothills way in the background.
When the heavens part and light shines down below, it's like God is telling you, "I see you", Gabrielle. Beautiful photo. You guys get the best greenery up there.
We ARE very blessed up here with incredible natural scenery ... and some that's not so natural like the power posts, which I've come to appreciate as a beauty all of their own
When the light is just right, the greens of the trees just glow. I loved the way the sunlight bounced off the barn, too. Soo neat!
Absolutely breath-taking, Gabrielle. I lived in Bremerton when I was a little kid and some of my family still lives in that area. I was fortunate enough to take my husband and son up there a few years ago and they were taken by the beautiful scenery as well. It was just as beautiful as I remember. Heather: You know, today was another cloudy day with just a little bit of mist around. It was sooo gorgeous too. We've had several days of very warm weather, at least for us ... I know other areas were much much hotter than we were here. Driving around a corner and seeing Mt. Rainier just looming larger than life on those days is breath-taking too! Thanks for stopping by!
