Due to the nature of the real estate business I spend a lot of time doing mobile work. I sometimes feel that I work out of my car so to fight this feeling I seek out great places for food and coffee that also offer free wireless service. If you are new to Round Rock or coming for a visit you might find this list helpful for a place to stop in and meet some locals. Keep an eye out because you might see me there and hopefully I will be selling some Round Rock real estate!
Friar Tuck's Pantry - Go see Deborah and order the Ginger Lime hot Tea. It is best with 2 lumps of Brown Sugar! Groups up to 20. Offering breakfast, lunch, coffee, and a posh yet comfortable atmosphere.

Star Co - New to town these guys have moved up to my top 5 favorit4es. They do a great wrap sandwich, coffee, and salads. They offer catering and have a awesome back room that can be used for meetings and gatherings if your office doesn't have a conference room. This "home of the grab and go," offers something for everybody and a great place to hang out and surf the net.

Café Java - Great neighborhood diner. Try the bacon cheeseburger omlet if you are counting carbs or for a big meal on a little budget get "The Java," with 2 eggs, 2 bacon, hash brown, toast, and coffee for $5.77. They are always so nice and friendly even when I stay in there working for hours after I finished my food.

Daily Grind - Your corner coffee shop kicked up a bit. Cool local art on the walls, friendly staff, and a coffee club to earn free drinks. I love their breakfast tacos and that they offer a kids menu! Now they have music on the first Friday of each month.

Schlotzsky's - Featuring awesome sandwiches on one of kind bread, salads, and Cinnabon, it's a wonder that I don't spend every day here. Diane is the manager and she is a great believer in giving back to the community. She is so kind and generous and always has a smile to give. Try the grilled chicken and pesto pizza! YUM!

Java Jungle - Four words - Kid playscape, free wifi. This is the best balance of kid friendly and parent pleasing you can find in Round Rock. The kids can run and play on the zipline, basketball court, or massive slides while mom and dad can surf the net and drink coffee. Each time I go there I wonder why I waited so long to come back. They do not serve peanut butter in case your little one has an allergy.
