Many people who are buying homes today are young, first time buyers. Because of the enormous financial responsibility that buyers are taking on, it is important to do a bit of research into the different options that may be available. With the soft sellers’ market that many areas of the country have been experiencing over the past few years many Realtors®, builders, and sellers are offering more incentives to buyers. Keep in mind that there is no one single, monolithic market when it comes to real estate but thousands of local and hyperlocal markets that are as unique as snowflakes. Danny, the incentive of a home warranty is a common thread. People don't think they need it .... Until they do need it ... which in many cases is too late.

Danny,

A home warranty is peace of mind for everyone involved in the transaction! The seller can be assured he won't get called blaming them for a water heater problem after closing accusing them they knew it had a problem..its taken care of by making a simple call to the warranty company!

I advise my buyer's to obtain a home warranty. I have also had seller's heed my advice and offer one to the buyer. We have a few agents in our company that purchase them for their buyer's as closing gifts. What better way to say Thank You to your customer?
