Trouble with Regions 2nd

We seem to have worked out something with the 1st note holder but are having difficulty with Regions which holds the 2nd.   They are insisting the sellers have to take an unsecured note back.   They can't.  Wife will be leaving work due to a child on the way.  Her income is the only that can be considered since she is the only one on the mortgage.

Anyone have any luck with Regions or any idea of what I can do?

Cyd - I have dealt with Regions.  That is their policy.  I think your homeowner can negotiate with them, but I doubt they'll drop everything.  Regions has given out mortgages using other properties as "collateral"...  Maybe your seller can do that, if they own something else.
