Oglethorpe County, Ga Residential Real Estate Market Report and Stats for June, 2009 - Continuing Positive News?

 Oglethorpe County, Ga showed the third consecutive rise in the 12 month sliding average of residential sales in over a year. While only an increase of 1 unit, it is still 3 months of increasing sales volume.

The averege sales price did show a decline of 3% but the median price showed a 1% increase. The average Days on Market (D.O.M.) also showed a slight decline.

Residential sales include the sale of single family residences, condos, townhomes, mobile and modular homes.

The Oglethorpe Count pending residential sales at the end of June  totals 23 units, which is down 1 from May.

It looks as though Oglethorpe County is in need of some stimulus.  Like maybe some buyers taking advantage of the $8,000 tax credit......
