Lady Liberty for Realtors!

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Realty Executives of Kansas City

"Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

-Emma Lazarus, 1883

Little did I realize as a small child when I would run into my father's real estate company and raid his gumball machine, that I was living such a blessed life. The freedoms that we enjoy in America allowed every blessing I experienced as a realtor's kid growing up. Why? Because without the blessing of free enterprise, I wouldn't have had the same wonderful life history that I had. My father and mother afforded me a child's "paradise" by loving eachother faithfully, teaching me to love God, working together to build a profitable real estate business and a rewarding family enterprise, and by investing their efforts into my well-being and development. My parents worked endlessly to get me the best education which included the schools I attended, the music lessons I took, the traveling opportunities I had, and their great counsel concerning life choices and opportunities. It's easy to look in retrospect and peel back only the first few layers of the circumstances and people that contributed to my blessed life but if I go way back and peel many more layers, I find myself where it all began. . . a God who loved me and created me and placed me in a loving family who happened to live in the most blessed country in the world. Today I find myself working in the profession of my family heritage - real estate. I'm doing much of what my father did. My love for the real estate business is deep and genuine because it is an extention of my happy childhood and, it allows me to work with realtors to build their real estate careers. This way, they can enjoy the same opportunities that I enjoyed being part of a real estate family. It's my way of giving back, forever grateful.
Want a rewarding real estate career? Living in America makes it possible! May we never forget.
