A Tommorrow Without Domestic Violence

By
Real Estate Agent with Port City Realty 54149

What does a tomorrow without domestic violence have to do with real estate? Realtors are a very giving group of people. Our WCR does a fund raiser for our local domestic abuse center every year. Every year I wish there is more that I could do.

Today I started a new blog for our local center. But since the wonderful thing about a blog is that it is not local I would love to have as much help as possible.

This is a topic that is a very private matter. This is not something that I ever talk about, so I'm sure it is something that many others out there also don't talk about. I'm not asking you to talk about it here on Active Rain. Of course you can, but that is not my intent.

If you have a story that could be encouraging to someone that is in a bad situation right now, please e-mail me your story with permission to post it or visit http://yourtommorrow.blogspot.com.

Thank you.

Julie, domestic violence is such a huge important subject that needs a voice. Too many people don't want to talk about it!

The answer to the problem is people like you who are  there for the ones who need you. Keep up the good work!

Julie,

Good work you are doing.  We can all try and do what we can.

Did you know you can collect old cell phones and women centers will take those and give them out to women in need?   They can make 911 calls on them.
