This was the 3 rd parade this summer, and unlike the others, it had a great hometown feel.  Town...Moose Lake, MN.  The other two parades had every political candidate running around shaking hands and being jsut plan Pains in the Nice Weather!!!

Moose Lake's Pareade had the needed elemints.

 You need the Grand Marshall

  You need the Royalty!

 You need the Town Mascot

Keep the Politicians in their cars waving and the rest is Just a GREAT time.  Congrats Moose Lake for the best Parade of the summer!

Looks like a fun parade. We don't really have many here in Columbia, so I have not been to one in years now.

JL...almost ever small town has them here.  Some are really good like this one, others are just a political get together!

What a good time and reminder of years past when my folks would take us downtown to see the parades, I always loved the clowns in the little cars.  :)

Royalty is of the upmost importance in any parade!!!  Aren't they cute.  We have a Little Miss and Mr Fourth of July contest in Brainerd on the 3rd - so they always ride in our parades on the 3rd and the 4th.  There are 3 parades within 15 miles. Our course we have our Miss Brainerd Lakes and the runners up in the parades as well.

Bill, I agree, I have found the small town parades still in the traditional theme and not all political

The small local parades are more of a family thing than one of advertising!
