Virtual Assistant's Secret Source For Bringing Thousand's of Hits To Realtor's Real Estate Blog!

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Move, Inc., / realtor.com

All I can say is "Wow!!!"  Ok, so I can say more than that, but... when you put your mind to it, ANYTHING is possible!

I have been writing real estate blogs for many of my realtor client's throughout the US for several years now and believed I was making a considerable difference to their:

  • Online Exposure
  • Search Engine Ranking
  • Targeted audience's perception of the realtor's expertise/local knowledge, and
  • Increase in traffic

Well I decided during the third week of June to write a blog on the upcoming events in Tulsa, OK for the July 4th holiday (for my Tulsa, OK realtor, Randy Gasswint).  But I wanted it to be THE place for his target audience to go to for their prime information and in doing so putting my blogging experience to the test.  How well was my blog going to be received?  I wanted to see an outstanding response - and that's EXACTLY what I got!

Within a few days of posting the July 4th blog (which I very timely posted on June 26th - there were literally only a handful of other websites discussing the upcoming events for 2009, so my realtor's competition was almost null and void) the number of hits was in the 500's.  By July 4th, his post had seen over 2,000 unique views!  I was so pleased with the results - I managed to blow the numbers out of the ballpark and that was just the beginning!

Ranking for the keywords that I used to promote his blog was phenomenal too!  For example, he was #1 on Google under "July 4th Fireworks Tulsa OK" (out of 459,000 results!), #8 on Google under "July 4th Tulsa OK"!  It was like it was my birthday!

Search Engine Ranking

Anyway, long story short, my secret source for getting the amazing results that I did was from the one and only Real Estate Tomato website blog!  You'll see my comments I wrote while I was monitoring his results on that page too (near the bottom of the page).  I say let's make every day a July 4th day!!  Thanks Real Estate Tomato!!!  Real Estate blogging has just become this Real Estate Virtual Assistant's favorite daily task!  Man, I love my job!  ;o)

Make it a great day!

Congratulations Suzanne. Thanks for the tips. Nice work.

I hope you'll remember me if you learn of anyone moving to "The OC" and I will do the same!

Congrats on your SEO success, Suzanne!  Playing with the search engines in often a fun puzzle / game for myself as well...I love to monitor the stats and see what I can accomplish!  OH - FYI, I tried to visit your website, since I haven't "met" you before (I like to tour websites :-), and it looks like it's down...just wanted to let you know.  I get a "This site is temporarily unavailable. Please notify the System Administrator" error.

Hi Christine,

Thanks for the heads up, but I (unfortunately!) know the issue with my site and am feverishly working on getting it back live again... in the meantime, you can check out my profile here on ActiveRain to learn more about me or join me on FaceBook!

Hello Suzanne, we did a similar post for last years' Clark County Parade of Homes and ranked very well with Google and got a good number of hits.  This year another local realtor put their Parade post 3 months in advance.  We'll see what happens when ours comes out in the near future!  Good job!  John
