Is Real Estate all about the Dollar?

Have you seen ever read the Harris Poll? Why just a few years ago we were rated lower than a used car salesperson or a lawyer. I am not saying that those are bad people but it is what consumers think that matter. Are some of us only thinking about how much money we can make as fast as possible and not thinking about what is best for our client? What about the time when the clients wanted to see homes and they were only showed the ones with the highest commission percentage? Or what about the time when the client was approved for a loan of $400,000.00 but only wanted to purchase a home for $250,000.00? For some reason we could only find homes in the $350,000 to $400,000 price range. And remember the time when the buyer wanted to close in 60 days and we kept trying to show the buyer that a 30-day closing would be better? Better? Better for whom? Are these the agents of today or are those the ones who got out of the business months ago?
