The dog days of summer seem to be beginning and this is a great time for us Realtors to remember to keep working. At the end of the year, the $8,000 first-time buyer credit is supposed to go away. Knowing that all the new rules with the Mortgage Disclosure Improvement Act are about to be implemented and knowing this may delay financing--it is a great time to let buyers know there is a sense of urgency before the deadlines arrive and they are left without a home.
